This banana bread is vegan and delicious. Best enjoyed with a drizzle of icing on top and a cup of tea.
¼ cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
5 dates, pitted and chopped
2 very ripe bananas
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup Demerara sugar
¼ cup confectioners' sugar (Optional)
1 teaspoon cold water, or more as needed (Optional)
