This banana caramel pie is a great dessert. The homemade dulce de leche is worth the work and time, but you may substitute commercial caramel ice cream topping if desired.
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
½ cup butter, melted
4 medium bananas, sliced
1 ½ cups whipping cream
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
